Settrington Church is the oldest building in the village. The approach and churchyard are famous for the daffodils in Spring. Closeby is Settrington House, home of the Storey family, whose crest is on the southern (private) entrance to the south.
Features to note
“The Nobody’s” are coming back to Settrington Village Hall again in November (date to be confirmed), headed by our very own local Police Chief Inspector, Neil Burnett and his merry men are guaranteed to get you all dancing, singing, and at the very least toe-tapping !
Tickets are £7.50, and include a cold buffet. There will be a raffle and bar selling the usual wine/lager/bitter.
The Nobody’s play a selection of cover songs, all easy listening and good to groove to, and generally provide a very good evening of entertainment.
If you’re new to the village, what better way to introduce yourself and meet other residents ?
A meeting will be held of Settrington Council
