The Parish Council are now in receipt of the finalised annual return for the 2014/15 accounts. The external auditor has advised that the 2014/15 annual return is in accordance with proper practices and no matters have caused concern.
All relevant legislation and regulatory requirements have been met.

West Lilling is a small village set in pleasant open countryside on the northern edge of the Vale of York between Flaxton (3miles) and Sheriff Hutton (1 mile). This Ryedale village is approximately 10 miles north of the City of York, 10 miles southwest of the market town of Malton and 8 miles east of the market town of Easingwold.
A range of amenities and services are available in Sheriff Hutton including a village school, post office / shop, garage, pubs and tearoom / deli and village hall.
The village is within the Easingwold secondary school catchment area.
The village comprises of 55 properties including 1 working farm. The village properties are a mix of old and new, brick and render.
